How to Set JAVA_HOME on Windows

Hi Everybody, this is importan to share because you must set java_home if you want to compile / build server based on java, like Aion and LineageII. For now source server LineageII and Aion using Java JDK version 1.7.x to compile and running. First you must already installed Java JDK on your computer if you don'y have Java JDK you can download from official site here.

Please attention if you're using windows 32bit use Java JDK for 32bit system and if you're using windows 64bit use Java JDK for 64bit system.

Step 1
After you have been installed Java on your computer, go to My Computer / Computer then Click Right > Properties

Step 2
You will look screen your system, then on Windows 7 look on left menu then you'll see Advanced system settings click that and you'll be entering on System Properties

click on Environment Variables...

Step 3

You'll see 2 kind Variables, User variables and System variables. click New... on User variables

then you will look this screen

Step 4

Fill Variable name with JAVA_HOME. on Variable value input with your Installed location of Java JDK. Ex: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_03

then click OK > OK > OK

Step 5

Finish, now you're ready set your JAVA_HOME on your computer and you can build your server.
